Optace Double Faceplate
The Optace Double Faceplate is the visible end of a structured cabling run: a two-port wall plate on the 86 x 86 mm single-gang format used throughout Kenya, presenting the work-area outlet at the desk, wall, floor box or trunking. Two apertures let a single outlet position serve two services, typically a data port and a voice port, two data ports for a desk with a phone and a workstation, or a data port paired with a fibre or coaxial module.
The apertures take standard snap-in keystone modules, so the same faceplate serves RJ45 copper jacks, fibre adapters, coaxial connectors or blanking inserts, and unused positions can be blanked to keep dust out. The plate is moulded in flame-retardant thermoplastic and fixes with two screws at the standard 60.3 mm centres onto a flush back box or a surface-mount box, and it can be mounted in either orientation to suit trunking runs. Installed with Category 6 or Category 6A keystone jacks it forms the outlet end of a permanent link built to ANSI/TIA-568 and ISO/IEC 11801.
