Optace CAT 6A 3 m Patch Cord
The Optace CAT 6A 3 m Patch Cord is a factory-terminated, tested RJ45-to-RJ45 lead for the equipment and work-area ends of a structured cabling channel. Three metres is the everyday length for patch panel to switch connections inside a rack and for outlet to device runs at the desk, access point or camera. Because the cord is Category 6A it supports 10GBASE-T over the full 100 m channel when the permanent link is also Category 6A, and it is backward compatible with Category 6 and 5e equipment.
The cord is built from four twisted pairs of stranded copper for flexibility, terminated in 8P8C RJ45 plugs with gold-plated contacts and moulded snagless strain-relief boots that protect the latch during patching. Performance is to ANSI/TIA-568.2-D Category 6A and ISO/IEC 11801 Class EA, giving a 500 MHz bandwidth rating, and the plug interface conforms to IEC 60603-7. Wiring is to the T568B scheme as standard. Cords are supplied in UTP or shielded construction and with PVC or LSZH jackets; confirm the variant required when ordering.
