Optace CAT 6A 5 m Patch Cord
The Optace CAT 6A 5 m Patch Cord is a factory-terminated RJ45-to-RJ45 lead for the longer connections in a structured cabling installation: outlet to desk where furniture sits away from the wall, floor box to workstation, ceiling outlet to a wireless access point or camera, and cross-rack patching between cabinets. At Category 6A it carries 10GBASE-T over the full 100 m channel when the permanent link is also Category 6A, and it works with Category 6 and 5e equipment.
The cord uses four twisted pairs of stranded copper, which keeps a five-metre lead flexible enough to route through cable management without stressing the terminations, and is finished with 8P8C RJ45 plugs carrying gold-plated contacts and moulded snagless boots. Performance is to ANSI/TIA-568.2-D Category 6A and ISO/IEC 11801 Class EA for a 500 MHz rating, with the plug interface to IEC 60603-7 and T568B wiring as standard. UTP or shielded construction and PVC or LSZH jackets are available; confirm the variant required when ordering.
