The Huawei eKitEngine S530-24T8J4XE is an enhanced, fully managed Layer 3 switch that pairs 24 x 10/100/1000BASE-T copper access ports with an exceptionally flexible optical uplink set: 8 x 2.5GE/GE/100M SFP ports, 4 x 10GE SFP+ ports and 2 x 10GE stack ports. Switching capacity reaches 208 Gbit/s with a 155 Mpps forwarding rate.
The eight multi-rate 2.5GE SFP ports are ideal for feeding Wi-Fi 6 and Wi-Fi 7 access points or multi-gigabit uplinks to edge switches, while the 10GE SFP+ ports connect to the core. iStack stacking uses the dedicated stack ports so no service bandwidth is lost. Routing covers OSPF, OSPFv3, IS-IS, BGP, BGP4+, RIP, RIPng, VRRP and ECMP, with PIM multicast, 4K VLANs, a 32K MAC table, Smart Link, SEP, ERPS G.8032, STP/RSTP/MSTP and Ethernet OAM. Security includes 802.1X, MAC and portal authentication, DHCP snooping, IP-MAC-port-VLAN binding, RADIUS, HWTACACS and NAC. A built-in AC power module supports 1+1 backup, and management is available via the HUAWEI eKit App, SNC, web, CLI and SNMPv1/v2c/v3.
