The Huawei eKitEngine S310-24ST4X is a fully managed fibre aggregation and access switch for campus, ISP and enterprise deployments where most endpoints arrive over optical links. It offers 24 x GE SFP ports - eight of which are dual-purpose 10/100/1000BASE-T or SFP combo ports - together with 4 x 10GE SFP+ uplinks, backed by 128 Gbit/s of switching capacity and 96 Mpps of forwarding performance.
The combo ports let you mix copper and fibre on the same chassis without wasting slots, which suits mixed CCTV, building-to-building and last-mile designs. Feature support includes iStack intelligent stacking, ERPS G.8032, Smart Link, STP/RSTP/MSTP, 4094 VLANs, a 16K MAC table, static routing, policy-based routing, OSPFv2 and OSPFv3, DHCP snooping, IP-MAC-port-VLAN binding, 802.1X and NAC authentication. It accepts AC or high-voltage DC input, draws a maximum of 41.7 W and runs at just 38.1 dB(A) sound power at normal temperature, and is managed from the HUAWEI eKit App and cloud, a web system, CLI or SNMP.
