Huawei eKitEngine AC650-512AP Wireless Access Controller
The Huawei eKitEngine AC650-512AP is a small-capacity box wireless access controller for small and medium enterprises. It manages up to 512 access points and integrates Gigabit Ethernet switch functionality, giving wired and wireless users a single point of access control. Used with Huawei's full series of 802.11n, 802.11ac, 802.11ax and 802.11be access points, it also supports hybrid networking, so older and newer APs can run on the same controller.
The unit provides two 10GE SFP+ optical ports and ten GE electrical ports with 10 Gbit/s forwarding capability, and scales to 4096 concurrent access users, 4096 VLANs, 8192 MAC address entries and 8192 IPv4 routing entries. It supports Layer 4 to Layer 7 application identification for traffic visibility and policy, and licence flexibility means the managed AP count can be grown as the network expands rather than fixed at purchase.
